We booked our voyage through a company called Vacations ToGo. They are a discount agent that has always given us great deals on cruises. This trip we struck gold after we booked a slightly larger suite.
For several weeks before the cruise we accepted the fact we couldn’t choose our specific cabin. It would be up to Cunard to do that. What likely happened is they sold out our level of cabin at full price to others. Then, three days before departure they upgraded us and assigned us a Penthouse Suite with a butler! Whoo hoo, life is good in the Penthouse with Andre our butler bringing us canapés every afternoon.
