Our ship is tiny compared to the vast Pacific Ocean we are sailing through. As I look out at the vastness of water all around, I think of the molecules that are connected in an unending string all around the globe. The waves which undulate the ship have originated somewhere and are going someplace. Wave action through connectedness have cause and effect.
It makes me think of our own human connectedness. Human actions in one place that ripple through society do have ramifications someplace else. Why we don’t appreciate this connectedness principal in our daily lives baffles me.
