The Brisbane City Park in the Central Business District (CBD) is a beautiful place to meander along many nature paths. This morning we stopped along the way to look more closely at a structure we have seen many times. From far away it looks like a modern angular sculpture. Upon closer inspection it is actually a memorial to the many fallen police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. What surprised us the most is the dates going back to the 1900’s along with those who perished this century. Each had an equally sized rememberance which made them all equally important to the city.
