We rang in the New Year at Clive and Elizabeth’s home in Maleny. Friends and neighbors joined in the fun on the deck drinking gin and tonics and munching on delicious snacks. Lively discussions broke out when Clive asked each of us to share predictions for 2023. Then, he followed up by asking what we hope to accomplish in the year ahead.
When midnight approached we adjourned to watch the Sydney fireworks on tv. At midnight, we all cheered with champagne clinking, kissing our wives and hugging our friends. After the Sydney fireworks we went to the deck and waved sparklers and shot poppers on the deck.
2023 made a very happy celebratory entrance with all of us laughing and clinking the night away.
