For my birthday we had a fantastic evening at the Buena Vista Resort Spa hotel and restaurant. Brenda worked with our host Susette, the manager of the property. The chief provided a lovely prepared and very tasty dinner plus a chocolate cake using Mexican chocolate! Oh my goodness it was so good and rich.
After dinner we were serenaded by the Troubador Anibal Cota, a local musician and singer with an amazing range of traditional Mexican songs and melodies. He performs all along the Baja Penninsula and is at Buena Vista Resort every Saturday evening. We were captivated by his beautiful songs. As a bonus he can do circular breathing and hold notes for such a long time. Below is a sample from one of his songs.
