I recall a wedding I saw in La Paz last week. It is striking that weddings around the world bear so many similarities. For one thing, family and community unite to celebrate the occasion of a marriage. A woman is usually accompanied by her father to the wedding location. And weddings are often held in a place which has spitiual significance to the couple.
It’s a beautiful thing to watch and puts a smile on my face. It is a reminder of my own wedding just a special as the one I witnessed in La Paz.
