We continue to enjoy this city and decided to spend another day here. That makes two extra days beyond what we intended, we like it that much. There is a special draw for us which is the people, the art and the Malecon. There is an atmosphere in the air that is hard to put your finger on. Everything seems to work well togther in a beautiful harmony.
For example, we have walked the Malecon several times and enjoyed the sculptures along the way. While walking, pelicans entertain you a few meters away swooping and diving for fish in the ocean. At the end of the walk is a lovely marina with cafes by the seaside. Not a bad way to start the day seeing interesting visuals and getting your exercise.
