For the last week the weather in Sorrento has been more wintery and rainy than we expected. But today was a glorious warm sunny day and so we decided the take the ferry to Capri from Sorrento and enjoy the sea and sun.
Once on the island of Capri, we took a tour boat around the island. It was a fabulous tour that enabled us to see the island from the sea level and explore the various famous grottos. The Blue Grotto which is the most famous was closed due to the high tide and sea level. But that did not deter us from seeing the other caves and passing through the arch at the end of the island. It is said if you kiss your lover/partner as you pass under the arch you will be together for the rest of your lives. Guess that sealed the deal for us!
