86 Degrees and Climbing

Oct 4

In the middle of the Pacific it is astonishing to learn the ocean is 86 degrees (30c) and climbing. The air temperature is only 82 degrees What is going on, why is the sea hotter than the air way out here in the deep blue sea?

I am afraid as one passenger reported, it is likely the result of the planet warming and the sea is absorbing the excess heat. It’s no wonder sea life is collapsing, on the verge of boiling to death. Maybe we humans are not far behind?
