Irish Sea

The Lake District boundary ends at the Irish Sea. When we went to have Fish n Chips we stopped at a beach called Bees beach. As you approach the ocean you can see how the budding plants are a bit further along than inland. And the weathe seems slightly more temperate. The beach on the other hand was rocky and quite cold. Although I have to say there were a few hardly young lads who rolled up their pants and braved the cold seas with their naked toes. Brrr…., not for me as I prefer the tropical beaches of the South Pacific. Below, I have put together a short video to give you a sense of Bees Beach.
