This day we decided to make the one hour drive to Albuquerque to visit the Pueblo Cultural Center. We learned there are 19 communities of tribes that live in Pueblos throughout our region. Their origins trace back 25,000 years.
The Center has a cultural museum that shows all the varieties of pueblo traditions. From pottery to weavings and dances you get a good appreciation for the cultural sophistication of these people. As a plus for us, our daughter Kate will be getting married here next year on June 1st.
