Thankful Penguinos

During our stay in Brisbane, my friend JT and I filmed the blokes who are restoring the Penguin Lugger. A Lugger is a sailing vessel that used to ply the Torre Straits to harvest pearl shells. I produced one video so far to help them market their efforts and attract supporters and volunteers. There will be five more videos to be completed.

The mates working on the project are called Penguinos. They acknowledged our contribution and presented a wonderul gift of a beautiful framed artwork of the Penguin in process of restoration, a pen hand made from the decking of the ship and a very old hand forged nail from the hull. John Hockings presented the gifts on behalf of the crew. Thank you Penguinos for acknowledging our contribution and welcoming us as honorary Penguinos.
