For us in Australia, we are now in the winter months. While the winter equinox is technically June 21, the Australians usually consider June 1 as the start of the cold season. However, while the southern part of the country has much colder temperatures and even skiing resorts, we here in Brisbane enjoy pleasant days that are dry and very quite perfect. Temperatures during the day hover around 70 to 75 degrees and at night around 60 or a bit less. In my book, this is a glorious way to spend the winter that even allows us to take lovely dips in the pool.
