Carole and Lance Lewis are two special friends who live in Maleny. They came down to Brisbane to visit and take us to their favorite lunch spot.
It’s called The Lighthouse and is about an hour’s drive east of Brisbane on Moreton Bay. This special seafood restaurant is at the water’s edge with fantastic panoramic views of the offshore islands.
It was a gorgeous winter day by the coast, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch of Moreton Bay Bugs and Barramundi, local Queensland specialties. Carole and Lance wished us farewell on our upcoming trip to the States where we will see our old homestead and visit the kids after 7 months away. We toasted their upcoming trip to France and Spain, and look forward to sharing travel tales with them. Bon voyage, Carole and Lance!
