Last night, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra performed a magnificent program of the music score to the Star Wars movie: The Force Awakens. In conjunction with watching the movie we were entertained for over two hours with the symphony of 80 musicians playing live the musical score of John Williams. Our US friends Mike and Kellie enjoyed the evening and we also saw our Australian friends, Liz and JT at the Convention Center as well.
In perfect timing to the movie track, we were awestruck by the flawless musical direction and overwhelming virtuosity of the musicians who played with such passion. It was an amazing performance, definitely out of this world.
