Ok, I know what you may be thinking but it’s not. My friend JT and his brother Ken, and I went last week for another tour of a brewery. As I said before there are tons of breweries in this area to visit. The whole town is like a museum of beers. This particular brewery is called the Horny Wombat. Their speciality is not to sell beer like at a bar but rather to sell the beer in large kegs and containers for customers to take home and serve from their own taps.
Mark, one of the owners, gave us a tour and sampling of the various kinds of beers they custom brew. Generally we like to try the Pilsners so that we have something to compare from one brewery to the next. In this case it happened to be a Czech Pilsner. All three of us were favorably impressed but felt the hop taste was a bit too syrupy. The beer didn’t make us grow horns on our heads which was probably a good thing. It was more like it went to our heads.
