My friend Clive invited me to his Whisky tasting group up in Maleny. I had a fantastic evening tasting three lovely Malt Whiskies. Led by Ken Smith a fabulous Master Whisky Connoisseur, we tasted three interesting samples. First up was Sherrywood from the Penderyn distillery in Wales. Then we moved on to Kulo from Teerenpeli distillery in Finland. And lastly we sampled O’Grady’s Stand from Kinglake Victoria, Australia.
We had a lovely evening with small sandwiches and tasty foods to go with the pairing prepared by Meg and Stuart the hosts for the evening. Both food, the Whisky, and the spirited conversation made for a wonderful Al Fresco evening. Thank you Clive for the invitation.
