You wouldn’t think it was possible to get thirsty in Brisbane, but my friend JT and I managed to be parched when we went to a brewery named Parched. As part of our weekly expeditions to find the perfect brewery, this week we visited Parched Brewery in the West End suburb of Brisbane.
Generally JT comes to our place and we walk to a brewery. This time it was a 40 minute hike on a rather warm day. We were literally so thirsty for a cold beer when we walked in the door. Carl the owner, served us a scooner of stout beer called Beeramisu, a pastry stout. Surprisingly it looked like a Guinness but tasted a whole lot smoother and light. It actually went perfectly with one of their home made pizzas.
Both JT and I agreed that this place has the best beers we have tasted to date.
