Our dear friends Clive and Elizabeth came to celebrate Elizabeth’s birthday in Brisbane this weekend. She is a youngster by comparison to us all. She has the wonderful natural ability to make us feel young again! She decided that this year she would celebrate at The Prawnster Restaurant at Kangaroo Point. It was a delightful evening of much laughter and story telling.
The Prawnster is a rather unique restaurant consisting of three fishing boats tied together on a pier. The idea is you board the vessel and they serve fresh seafood right off the boat so to speak. They have tables set up on the deck and you order a platter of seafood. The unique thing is they don’t give you plates or silverware. They do encourage you to bring those things if you like. Plus you can bring your own bread and salad. It was a lovely evening and we walked back to the free ferry to sail our way back home.
