Today we are leaving for a brief vacation to the famous Gold Coast just outside Brisbane. We will take the train and trolley to get to our hotel the Q1. The trip will take just under two hours and cost $11.46 AUD one way per petson. The hotel is the tallest building on the coast overlooking miles of golden sand both north and south.
Sure, we are retired but nonetheless we still work. I work on the Layton film and Brenda on her book and fundraising for the archiving of the completed Dine Elders film. So a break at this stage of our lives is much needed. Stay tuned for our next blog on the goings on at the Gold Coast.
