Along the Brisbane River are several long stretches of Mangroves. The city has purposely preserved them as a way to keep the river clean. They have also built beautiful wood and stainless steel walkways through the trees and all along the banks.
As you perambulate along the paths there are several signs promoting the Aboriginal beliefs of preserving the land. It’s a lovely reminder to respect nature but also of mankind’s ability to integrate at the same time.
