This is a small port but very big in the fishing world. The many fishing boats go out to the Australian Bight and catch a wide variety of fish. Notable among them is Blue Fin tuna. They round them up in huge nets and slowly tow them back to port and put them in big pens floating in the bay.
We walked into town and noticed red ribbons everywhere which is the town’s Christmas decorations. Then we went off to a local restaurant to sample a 2 person seafood platter. The platter had all the local seafood specialties of the area. Coupled with a lovely Chardonnay from a local winery up the road we were happy campers.
