Tonight we went to the Edinburgh Castle to enjoy their Castle of Light Show. The whole castle is lit up with video projections on the walls. It was all great fun to see and got us in the holiday mood while walking the ramparts.
We end our trip to Scotland on a high note. This is an amazingly beautiful land with a broad spectrum of scenery that is stunning to the eyes. The people are charming and welcoming. They are also rightfully proud of their 1,000 year old history.
Tomorrow we fly to Perth, Australia my birthplace. Just a few miles from Edinburgh is the original city of Perth. The more Brenda and I travel the more we appreciate the connections there are between people and places around the globe.
