Whenever you fly to or from Australia there is a weird phenomenon of time. Going there you lose a day, flying back you gain a day. In our case, our flight to Dallas left at 3:30pm local time Saturday afternoon. We arrived in Dallas on Saturday at 4pm local time. A total difference of 30 minutes after we had departed Sydney.
In reality the flight took over 15 hours being in the air. When you add up all the hours that Brenda and I experienced on Saturday we actually had a 39 hour day. All in all it was a wonderful trip and Brenda now has her official spousal visa for Australia. We were happy to finally see the lights of home landing in Albuquerque.
