In the morning of our departure we watched the beautiful sunrise over Uluru and marvelled at the changing colors. We departed our hotel early in the morning by bus to the airport. Uluru airport has a very small terminal with only two gates, #1 and #2. After a short 2 hr flight we were back in Brizzy as it is fondly known here.
It’s been more than two years since we have been in Brisbane. It was before Covid and before their great floods. When we arrived we went to dinner and saw many restaurants closed along the river because they had been flooded out. There will be much rebuilding to do. After dinner we went back to our hotel as pretty tired puppies.
