We arrived back in Santa Fe yesterday on February 28th – exactly six months from when we left on August 28th, and exactly two years to the day when we came back from Australia in 2020 as Covid hit.
This year we return to witness the Ukraine Invasion, and the world stands united in pain and crisis again.
But before we lose the moment, Tom and I want to Thank You for being with us on this magical journey. We’ve enjoyed sharing our adventures in Greece and Croatia; Tuscany and Rome and the Amalfi Coast; Spain and Portugal and crossing the Atlantic; Fort Lauderdale and Thanksgiving in Houston, and then off to beautiful Baja California Sur, Mexico for the winter. We feel so blessed to have been able to make this journey, and have loved having you with us along the way.
We give a shout out to Jeff Iavecchia and Veronica, who met us in Athens; to John Wasnick and Wendy Tripoli, and Kyle Wohlmut and Sarah Cuminetti, who joined us in Tuscany to celebrate my birthday last October.
We spent a fabulous week in Fort Lauderdale with Hanif and Jasmine; and loved having Thanksgiving with our family in Houston.
The Layton Family welcomed us warmly to Baja; and my daughter, Kimberly, capped off the trip last weekend in Scottsdale. We met so many new friends along the way. And we carried you all with us every day, and loved your enthusiasm for our journey.
