Yesterday we drove up from Los Barriles to a wonderful point of land up the coast called Punta Pescadero. The English translation means Point of the Fisherman. It was only about 15 miles away. However the dirt road we took was steep and treacherous as it hugged the coastline to one side and the steep cliffs on the other. It took us nearly an hour to get there going 15 mph.
But it was worth the effort. At the end of the trail was a hotel with a lovely bar and restaurant. The view reminded us of the Big Sur coastline in Northern California. We had a lovely warm afternoon with a Marguerita, fresh fish sandwich and beautiful scenery to look at.
