Yesterday morning while working at the kitchen table I began to feel my chair start to wiggle. Then I saw the tv on the table start to shake. Earthquake, I shouted to Brenda who was reading. By the time I did it was over.
Turns out the long San Andreas fault stretching from Northerm California to Baja Sur is just offshore from where we are staying. It’s a little unsettling to think of it so nearby with the potential of creating a tsunami. With Covid, political unrest and now with an earthquake I guess it’s all part of the new normal.
