Every year the gringos living here put on a house tour to help support scholarships for the local high school students. It’s a worthy cause and a chance to see how the upper crust lives in this lightly inhabited area.
We saw some wonderful $1 million plus homes which are stunning in their design and functionality. Funny enough each of these homes required driving down bumpy dirt roads. I guess that’s what you get when you only pay less than $500 a year in property taxes!
