About an hour northwest of us on highway 1 is the beautiful town of El Triunfo. It is a very old mining town established in the mid 1500’s. It was once home to the largest population on the Baja Peninsula. People from all over the world came there to seek their fortunes.
Today the town is a very quaint and beautiful tourist destination. The museum is fantastic on par in quality to the great museums of the world. And the restaurant on the property is absolutely wonderful. Brenda and I enjoyed a most beautiful Saturday in this magical place in the mountains of Baja.
