Los Barilles is a small town about an hour drive north of Cabo San Lucas. It is called The Barrels in Spanish. The reason is this was a fresh water station for the old ships that sailed up and down Baja. The barrels of course refers to the barrels the water was stored in.
We will be staying here through the month of December to catch up on work and visit our friends Annalisa Layton who lives here and Debby Layton who is planning on building a house here. In some ways we too are refilling our bodies and minds in this beautiful rest stop.
