Granada is a famous city in Spain of great significance. The Moors settled there for 800 years and built the Alhambra castle. The Spanish Catholics fought them and vanquished the Moors in 1492. Queen Isabela of Spain listened to Christopher Columbus petition for money to explore a new route to India in the Alhambra. And it is said the gypsies came to Granada and invented the Flamingo dance. A lot happened in this city.
