Deep in the heart of the Tuscan countryside between the Chiant region and the Montepulciano region is a working farm and tourist villa. This is where we are staying and celebrating Brenda’s birthday this year. My nephew Kyle and his partner Sarah are here as well as our dear friends Wendy and John who just flew in today from America. Together we will have a blow out dinner and party tomorrow.
In the meantime we have been enjoying the villa and the chef each night prepares special meals from locally sourced ingredients and receipes. To say the food is delicious is an understatement. It’s much more than that and last night for example the chef prepared Tuscan T-Bone steaks from specially raised cows on an open fire in the dining room. Oh my what flavors and delicate seasoning.
