Today we arrived in Corfu, the northern most island in the many Greek islands. It is much greener than the rest. We took a tour to Palaiokastritsa. Try saying that fast three times! There we went and took a small boat to see the beautiful waters and famous blue eye cave. Afterwards we made a quick dip in the Ionian Sea. This is also where they filmed the James Bond film: “For Your Eyes Only”.
Our bus driver took us on a hairy drive up steep cliffs and one lane roads to a gorgeous lookout point at the Golden Fox Restaurant. The joke is that in Corfu drivers go to heaven before priests. The saying goes priests have to wait to get into heaven because they put their parishioners to sleep with boring sermons while on Corfu bus drivers make everyone pray to God while driving the steep one lane roads.
