The Brisbane City Hall has a wonderful rotunda that is also their meeting place and concert hall. Yesterday we went to listen to Handel’s Messiah. It was performed by four opera singers, full orchestra, and a 140 member choir. The three hour performance was awe inspiring and sublime. When 140 voices sing at maximum volume you can feel it in your entire body. It was one of the most memorable performance of the Messiah that I have ever experienced. A wonderful entry into the holiday season.
