Between the Central Business District and the other side of the Brisbane River there are several bridges. There are three car bridges and four pedestrian only crossings. The latest walking bridge to be built is the Kangaroo Point Bridge. It is a beautiful structure with graceful support cables reaching up to the sky. I am grateful for this city that recognizes pedestrians as valuable enough to merit four unique bridges. It says a lot about their commitment to a human and healthy community.
