The rains that fall here in Brisbane can be pretty impressive. The storms can arise from either inland or the sea. They come up quickly with the full force of lightning. It’s fun to watch and see the changing skies. The other night we heard the air crackling outside our window followed in an instant by a lightning bolt and thunder. It was right on top of us. The powerful force was shocking and it sure gave us an appreciation of what/who was in control in that moment.
