I once met an American who was curious how Australians managed to walk upside down. I’ll let that sink in for a minute. The same could be said about Americans, it depends upon your perspective.
Australians see their world differently. Ninety eight percent of drivers stay within the posted speed limit. People wait at crosswalks for the light to turn green. The population tends to smile a lot and are always willing to lend a hand. They love to be outdoors. They are willing to pay extra at restaurants for people who work Sunday and holidays. And politics is not too big a deal as long as the various parties don’t rock the boat too much. They do have their share of serious problems too but generally are willing to discuss ways to solve them together. I guess walking upside down is not so bad.
