Driving from Sydney to Brisbane takes about 10 hours. While we pulled out of Sydney by 11am we couldn’t make the entire trip in one sitting. This is especially true given the top speed allowed on the freeway is 70 miles per hour. And everyone here pretty much obeys the speed limit due to monitoring cameras on the road and very high penalties for speeding.
By 7pm we had enough of driving and pulled into the little seaside town of Yamba. It is one of many beautiful coastal towns along the Pacific east coast of Australia. In the morning we continued onto Brisbane finally arriving at our planned destination, our new home town after being on the road for nearly two months.
