Sept 15
We kicked off Sunday with a brunch at the Chaminade resort high above Santa Cruz. The fog was beginning to burn off and warm sunshine peeking through. Chaminade used to be a Catholic convent now turned into a major resort hotel. I guess you can say it went from piety to profit.
Then we dropped down to Capitola by the beach for their annual wine and art festival. Strolling by the many booths was a delight to see all the artists wares. Finally we stopped at the public beach spending a relaxing time watching the many pelicans swooping down to the water edge. A fine day indeed.
