The city of Vancouver has a lot of things going for it. On the northern side are high snow capped mountain peaks. Surrounding the city on three sides is the ocean and water inlets. The core is incredibly clean with hardly any trash in the streets. And the cruise port is an elegant structure that looks like a sailing vessel which can accommodate 4 ships at once.
Just to the west of downtown is Stanley park a real jewel of an urban park. Bigger than Central Park in New York, you can stroll the perimeter which offers stunning views of the bay and ocean. Coupled with a sunny warm day we enjoyed every bit of what this city has to offer.
