Winter in Santa Fe can be cold and gloomy. Starting in late October the nights dip below freezing until mid May. It takes at least six months before you can plant flowers and vegetables. During that time it snows on and off with spells of sunshine that can be very pleasant. It’s been four months and we are ready for a change.
Tomorrow, on February 28th we will be flying to San Juan, Puerto Rico. There, we will spend a few days before we board a 100 passenger ship for a cruise around the Caribbean. Our cruise line is Emerald Cruises. Stay tuned for the daily updates in which I will share our adventures to warmer and sunnier climes.
