Yesterday we celebrated my nephew, Kevin’s birthday. He is 57 years old. It is hard to believe but when he was born I was only 13 years old. Joining us was my daughter Kate and her fiancée Andy. We had a mini family reunion at El Pinto restaurant. El Pinto is on the property of an old Spanish Ranchero located in Albuquerque. The grounds are lovely and lush being located very close to the Rio Grande river. In typical New Mexican style you have hanging chili resteras greeting you as you enter the restaurant.
A lovely time was had by all of us, enjoying the hot afternoon under the shade trees. Kate and Andy were so impressed with the location they are seriously considering having their wedding at El Pinto. It has been a while since we were all together like this.
