As I was getting off the ferry this wonderful black musician approached me and we started talking. It was evident pretty quickly that Harold Garvey was a spiritual man. Interestingly, he and I are close in age and I found it wonderful to hear his life story on how he got here. Harold spreads his love of people and makes children smile through his music and broad Jamaican smile.
There’s a lot we can learn from him about sharing our inner spiritual light. Harold is proof there is much more to life than being black or white.
