There are some days when you do a lot and everything clicks into place. We began with a drive up the coast to see NgILGI cave. Apparently the whole peninsula has several dramatic caves you can visit. This one is the largest.
Afterwards, we went off for one of those famous gourmet winery lunches at Wills Domain. We had a most exquisite lunch paired with wines overlooking the vineyards. The presentation and tastes were 10 out of 10.
Then, off to the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse for a tour. Situated overlooking the north point of the peninsula, we climbed up the old stairs for spectacular views of the ocean. The light from the lighthouse can be seen for over 40 kilometers away.
Last but not least, we stopped to see Bunker Beach as a potential swimming spot if the weather heats up some more. This was a day that enriched all of our senses. We were happy campers.
