We drove from Glasgow down to the Lake Distict in England, a two and a half hour trip. It was a lovely drive through bright sunshine and intermittent rain squalls. Our destination was to Mungrisdale to visit with Jean Sayre-Adams, “Jeannie”, of Sacred Space Foundation.
Jeannie is celebrating her 90th birthday this week. She is a spry woman and still practices therapy and spiritual healing for clients around the world. She and Brenda have been very close friends for over thirty years. The look and anticipation on Brenda’s face in seeing her after a long time was palpable.
We will be staying for several days and using this as our home base to see the beautiful Lake District. We will celebrate Jeannie’s birthday with her family, attend the memorial service of her brother who recently died and embrace the beauty of this place.
