Today we took a half day tour up to the Daintree National Park. Our guide was an Aborigine named Aaron who showed us the many plants and a highlight was seeing a large Cassowary bird and floating crocodile.
We also stopped at many fine beaches which warned of box jellyfish and crocodiles nearby. And should you get stung by the jellyfish the county provides free vinegar to pour on the stings.
Aarons’ favorite Aborigine food? He told us how much he loves lasagna!
