Easter Monday in Australia is an official holiday. All banks, most businesses and schools have a day off. Too bad for us as we wanted to go shopping and see the sights. Instead we visited the Royal Garden park and invited our Australia Visa agent/consultant for a cuppa at a coffee shop in the mall. Trent Pickup is his name and was a huge help in navigating the complex rules and paperwork for Brenda’s Spousal visa. It was lovely to meet him in person and we cannot recommend him highly enough.
Tomorrow we head off to beautiful Maleny for a stay with our dear friend Clive and Elizabeth. They have a lovely 100% energy efficient home. They have planned several dinner parties to welcome Brenda into the Aussie fold.
