In 1961 President John Kennedy gave a speech at Rice University setting Americans on a quest to go to the moon. I was 8 years old at the time. He said we would do this not because it was easy but because it was hard. The rest is an amazing history of accomplishment and it resulted in great scientific benefits for mankind. This made me think, wouldn’t it be wonderful to set a goal to clean up our planet not because its easy but because it is hard?
This was the thought that carried me as we visited the Houston Nasa Space Center, the where the heart of America’s space program lives. We were so impressed with the many exhibits of the actual space capsules that traveled in space. A must see for any space and human potential enthusiast.
