Thanksgiving Blessings to You All!
No matter where you roam in the world, there’s nothing like being with family and connecting with your own roots. Family connects us deeply to our past, present, and future and grounds us in what’s most important in life.
We are so thankful that we were able to be with Brenda’s family in Houston on Thanksgiving Day. Thank you Jim and Beth Dabney for hosting us. Our generation is all getting older, but in heart and actions, we are all children playing together again. We are warmed by sweet memories of those who have left before us, and buoyed by the exuberance of two new generations coming up behind us. The family tree continues to grow and blossom and the roots grow deeper holding us to our center.
This is the half-way mark of our 6-month odyssey, and we are grateful for each moment and also for all of you who we care about and are following along. You are our family too!
We hope each of your days this weekend and this holiday season are filled with many blessings and much happiness.
